Day 14: Spiaggia Rena di Ponente - Capo Testa

We spent another day at Spiaggia Rena di Ponente. The water was crystal-clear and calm once again, and thin, wispy clouds drifted overhead. In between, we enjoyed the obligatory coffee at the beach bar overlooking the sea.

In the late afternoon, we drove on to Capo Testa, passing between enormous granite cliffs. From the top, we could see across the sea all the way to Corsica, and in the evening light, even the white chalk cliffs of Bonifacio glowed.

We watched the sunset from the rocks near the lighthouse. As the sun disappeared into the sea, the moon rose on the other side. It was a beautiful way to end a peaceful final day of our vacation. And then it was time to pack our bags…
