Day 10: Porto Pozzo - Spiaggia La Marmorata

Today we woke up at sunrise and marveled at it from the window—a truly beautiful start to the day.

In the morning, we took a short drive past rugged granite mountains to Spiaggia La Marmorata near Santa Teresa Gallura.

We spent the whole afternoon there turquoise-blue, wave-tossed water, fine light-colored sand, and large, round granite boulders all around. It was pretty windy again, but our beach umbrella held up. To cool off, we took a dip in the sea and, of course, had ice cream on the beach.

In the evening, we faced our next little challenge: no hot water at our lodging. But we quickly found a temporary solution with our hostess.
