Day 4: San Vito

Today, everything turned out differently than planned. An infection suddenly put a damper on things and forced us to take a day of rest.

So instead of a sparkling sandy beach and the ocean, the plan was to relax on the couch. Chris got cozy on the balcony with his laptop, while Annalena perfected her “chill” pose inside. A vacation from our vacation, so to speak.

The highlight of the day: a trip to the EuroSpin supermarket. Luckily, things started to look up noticeably as the evening approached, and we ended the day on a cozy note with a delicious pizza on the terrace. And then it was already time to pack our bags to head to our next accommodation tomorrow.
