Day 3: Capo Carbonara - Spiaggia di Cann'e Sisa - Quartucciu
The morning got off to an active start with an hour-long hike, and that in heat so intense it felt like standing right in front of a blazing furnace. It was a real sweat-inducing hike, but the view was phenomenal.
Afterward, we continued by car along the coastal road. Lots of curves and fantastic views quickly made the drive a highlight. Along the way, we discovered a new beach and cooled off in the perfectly temperate blue-turquoise water.
In the afternoon, things got wild, a guided horseback ride was on the agenda. For an hour and a half, we rode through the countryside on horseback with our guide, Guido. It was Chris’ very first time ever on a horse, and at first he was scared out of his wits 😅. In the end, though, it was a ton of fun, and as a reward, we enjoyed a well-deserved beer with Guido while listening to some hilarious stories.
